We are renewing our fleet at the Alphubel location in Täsch/Zermatt to offer our customers an even more exclusive and comfortable selection of vehicles. The latest addition to our fleet is the brand new Mercedes S-Class 500, known for luxury, elegance and innovative technology.

Together with Alphubel Limousine & Taxi Service and Stoked Group, the perfect start to the winter season in Zermatt was achieved in the magical atmosphere of The Cavern at The Omnia.

On October 21, 2023, we welcomed long-standing customers, travel partners and friends to the new travel agency in Lucerne as part of the Bucher Reisen customer event in Dierikon. We enjoyed interesting presentations about South Africa, Costa Rica, Norway, Hurtigruten and Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam as well as a great aperitif in the penthouse of the Hotel Astoria.

The Swiss beach volleyball players, Anouk Vergé-Dépré and Joana Mäder, were named proud "Car Godmothers" at the traditional car naming ceremony. Our Bucher Reisen team actively supported the athletes with the planning and organization of all flights during the hectic preparation and tournament phase and ensured that the athletes always arrived home safely. The travel company Bucher Travel Inc. is opening a new travel agency at Pilatusstrasse 32 in Lucerne. Under the name "Bucher Travel", the company offers a wide range of first-class travel services.

Since 1 May 2023, the two tourism professionals Patrik Zibung and Urs Huwiler complement the management team and support Mario Würsch, co-owner, managing director and chairman of the board of directors. The two executives are long-time employees of the company and already manage a department. Both are familiar in detail with the peculiarities of the company and are well prepared for the extended tasks.

Bucher Travel Inc. is expanding its business activities to Täsch/Zermatt in the Swiss canton Valais. The acquisition of “Alphubel Taxi & Limousine Service” in Täsch will strengthen the company’s operations in Valais and throughout Switzerland.

Urs Hunkeler, Managing Director of the Winter Universiade 2021, will be the ‘coach godfather’ of the new Bucher Bus in the WU2021 design. WU2021 is the second-largest winter multi-sport event in the world after the Olympic Games. It should have taken place for the 30th time in Central Switzerland from 11 to 21 December 2021.

The world renowned hotel school „SHL“ in Lucerne turns young talents into successful hotel managers. The „SHL“ celebrated its 111th Birthday in 2020. We are proud that Director Christa Augsburger becam our first godmother of the SETRA S516HD in October 2020.

Bucher Events receives the Destination Services Travel Partner Award 2019 for its collaboration with Next Level Performance (US agency) in planning the ‘Race to the Alps’ incentive travel program in Lausanne. The program included an exclusive evening event in Gruyères and a spectacular helicopter flight over the Matterhorn.

The owner of the Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern, Patrick Hauser, is the fifth generation of the family to manage the five-star hotel with his brother Mike. The congenial and charming luxury hotel on Schweizerhofquai with 101 rooms and suites has established itself as a festival hotel and regularly organizes successful events. Patrick Hauser is a member of the management board of the hotelleriesuisse association, as well as the president of the association’s employment law committee.
